Safe & Trust keeps your files safe with advanced RSA encryption, which is a reliable data protection system. We use an encryption key of 2048 bits, which ensures the highest level of security. In addition, to further secure your data, we use a unique way of creating the encryption key. To do this, we use data collected during the movements of your mouse. This data is collected at random times and distances, making each key like an individual fingerprint - unique and unrepeatable. In our digital vault, all files are encrypted directly on your device before they are uploaded to the cloud. All of this together keeps your files safe and protected from unauthorised access.
With Safe & Trust, your documents are as safe as treasures in a most securely guarded fortress. We use advanced RSA encryption, which works like a powerful, impossible to forge key. Every file is encrypted with this key already on your device, providing the best protection from any threat. Only you and people designated by you can access the files you store. No one can crack the code — neither our system administrator nor any potential hacker. You are in full power to decide who can access which files and when. Safe & Trust is like a secret chamber, accessible only to a select few — and everything is secured as if the best guards were keeping watch.
Your data can only be accessed by you and people selected by you; no one else can open your files, neither our system admin, nor any hacker. The encryption is so strong that even if we are obliged to hand over your files to the prosecutor’s office, they will still be encrypted and impossible to open — so it is only you who can decide who can access which files and when. You can also choose whether a file should be made accessible right away, or at a specific time (e.g. on your daughter’s 18th birthday). You can also tag the documents that will be shared with a specific person in the event of your death.
Document storage in Safe & Trust is very easy and resembles organising files on a hard drive. The difference is that in our vault, documents are placed in folders, just like physical sheets of paper in a folder. The folders are then placed in binders — these can hold an infinite number of files. The binders, on the other hand, are assigned to categories that allow us to organise everything we collect in the safe meticulously. For your comfort, we have prepared a ready-to-use category structure which allows to store medical documents, contracts, invoices; family, personal, and confidential files; and many more. The entire structure is flexible, intuitive and very easy to use.
An account guardian is an extremely important person — somebody you can trust and rely on. The guardian’s role is to secure the process of opening up the vault after your death, so that the people you selected can receive the documents you chose. In most cases this will happen automatically, but if somebody was selected to receive a document and has not created an account yet, the guardian will help them access the files in question. You choose your account guardian during the account creation process or later. Since life is unpredictable, you can also change the account guardian, if necessary.
Encryption key creation is a paramount, yet very simple, stage of the Safe & Trust account setup. When registering, you will be asked to move your cursor over a specific area. The system then tracks your movements and generates numbers corresponding to them. What is important, each movement of your hand is unique, and even differences of millimetres or fractions of a second have an impact on the numbers that are calculated during the key generation process. Finally, based on those numbers, the system generates the key — one and only, yours alone.
